This policy describes how Installation Pros collects, uses, and shares information when you visit installationprossocal.com, request a quote, apply for a job, communicate with us, use our services, or choose to participate in our marketing programs. It also explains your choices. Providing information for a quote does not, by itself, enroll you in marketing text messages.
Information we collect
Information you provide. We collect information you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, job-site address, city, ZIP code, requested service, job type, whether you bought the equipment from a retailer, preferred dates, project details, and optional photographs. Communications with our office and information supplied while scheduling or receiving services may include a service address and other information needed to handle your request.
Website and security information. Our website and service providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, pages requested, request times, referring pages where available, and technical signals used to prevent fraud and automated abuse. These details can constitute personal information; we do not describe them as anonymous merely because they do not include a name.
Preferences and participation. If you enroll in an email or SMS program or participate in a survey, promotion, or contest we offer, we may collect your communication preferences, consent and opt-out records, responses, and the information identified at the point of collection. Participation is voluntary, and any additional terms will be provided with the program.
Website assistant. If you use the chat assistant on our website, we keep the messages you send and the assistant's replies so we can answer your question, prepare your request, and improve our service. The assistant is provided through an AI service provider, which processes the conversation, including any name, phone number, email address, or job-site address you type into it, to write replies and fill in your request for you to review before you send it. Payment-card and account numbers are removed before messages are processed; please do not type payment or financial details into the chat.
Job applications. If you apply for work with us through the website, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the city you live in, the part of the company you would like to work in, anything you write about your experience, your resume, and a cover letter if you attach one.
Requests sent by an AI assistant. If you ask an AI assistant or other software agent to send a quote request or job application to us for you, we receive the information it sends, note that it came from an agent, and handle it the same way as information you send yourself. The company that provides your assistant handles your information under its own terms.
Address suggestions. When you type a job-site address into a request form, the partial address is sent to a mapping service to suggest matching addresses.
Please do not put payment-card numbers, financial-account details, government identification numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information into the quote form or photographs. The current quote form does not process payments.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, schedule and deliver services, provide support, maintain business records, improve our website and services, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
We may also use contact details and relevant service interests for Installation Pros marketing, such as specials, service updates, and offers, subject to applicable law, your preferences, and any required consent. We also measure whether our online ads lead to quote and appointment requests, using the advertising tags described under “Cookies, analytics, and advertising,” only when you allow Marketing cookies. We will not treat a quote request or acceptance of this policy as blanket permission for automated marketing texts.
Email communications
We use email to respond to quote requests and communicate about requested services. We also plan to send Installation Pros promotional emails. Marketing emails will identify us and provide a way to unsubscribe. You may also request that we stop marketing emails by contacting our office.
Opting out of marketing emails does not necessarily stop non-promotional communications needed to respond to a request, provide a service, or meet a legal obligation. We will honor applicable opt-out requirements and will not require you to buy anything to unsubscribe.
Text messages (SMS terms)
Marketing texts are optional and require a separate affirmative opt-in. Our request forms include a separate checkbox for Installation Pros marketing text messages. The box is never pre-checked, and you do not need to check it to request a quote, book an install, or buy anything. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Submitting a website request without checking that box does not enroll you in an SMS marketing program.
If you check the box, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from Installation Pros—such as offers, seasonal reminders, and service updates—at the mobile number you entered. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also opt out by any other reasonable means, such as telling our office by phone at (909) 768-3650 or by email. We honor opt-outs promptly and may send one message confirming that you have opted out.
When you opt in, we keep a record of the checkbox, the wording you were shown, the page, the time, and technical details of the submission (such as IP address and browser type), so that we can honor your choice and show that consent was given.
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text-messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. A messaging provider that sends texts on our behalf receives only what it needs to deliver them and may not use it for its own purposes.
Separately, when you ask us to contact you about a specific request, our office may call or text you about that request. Those messages are not marketing and do not require the optional checkbox.
Program status: our marketing text program has not launched yet. If you opt in now, marketing texts will begin only after the program is set up, and the first message will confirm your enrollment and explain how to opt out.
Your privacy choices
Use the “Your Privacy Choices” link at the bottom of any page (or the button below) to turn Analytics and Marketing cookies off or on at any time. Turning off Marketing cookies opts you out of any sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising through our website, as those terms are used in California privacy law.
We do not sell personal information for money. When Marketing cookies are allowed, the advertising tags described above may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California privacy law. The categories involved are identifiers (cookie and device identifiers and IP address) and internet or other electronic network activity (pages visited and ad interactions), and the categories of third parties are advertising networks (Google and Meta). Turning off Marketing cookies, using “Your Privacy Choices,” or sending a Global Privacy Control signal opts you out. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as a valid request to opt out. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
Marketing email and text preferences are separate: use the unsubscribe link in an email, reply STOP to a text, or contact our office.
Photographs
Photos submitted with a quote are used to understand and respond to the installation request. The website resizes and re-encodes uploaded images before attaching them to the office notification; the re-encoding removes embedded metadata, including embedded location metadata. Details visible inside the image itself may still identify people or locations. Avoid including people or unrelated personal information when possible.
The application does not publish uploaded photographs or create public photo links. Delivered images may remain in our business mailbox and our email providers' systems under their retention practices. Submission for a quote does not grant permission to use your photographs publicly in advertising; we will seek separate permission for that use.
Job applications
We use the information in a job application to review it, contact you about it, and keep hiring records. Sending an application is not an offer of employment.
The website emails your application, with your resume and any cover letter attached, to our team's business mailbox and sends you a confirmation email. The website itself does not keep a copy. Before delivery, attached documents are checked automatically for file type, size, and unsafe content such as scripts or macros, and a document that does not pass is refused. Delivered applications may remain in our business mailbox and our email providers' systems under their retention practices.
Please include only what is relevant to the work. Do not put Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver's license numbers, financial details, or health information in an application or its attachments. You may contact our office to ask us to correct or delete an application.
When we share information
We may share information with service providers that help us host and secure the website, deliver email or text messages, manage business communications, and fulfill requested services. The website request-delivery path uses Vercel, Resend, and our Google Workspace office mailbox. These providers process information as needed to perform their services and under the applicable agreements and privacy terms.
We do not sell quote-contact information or supply it to outside companies for their own mass-email or text marketing. With Marketing cookies allowed, website-visit information is available to our advertising partners, Google and Meta, as described under “Cookies, analytics, and advertising”; you can opt out through Your Privacy Choices or a Global Privacy Control signal.
We may disclose information when legally required, to respond to lawful requests, protect safety or rights, investigate suspected fraud or misuse, or in connection with a business transaction subject to applicable safeguards and notice requirements.
Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and services involved. No website, email system, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. This policy does not promise that every message or internal storage system is end-to-end encrypted.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including service delivery, business records, legal requirements, dispute resolution, and honoring consent or suppression preferences. Retention can vary by record type and provider. We may retain limited opt-out information so that a deletion request does not cause you to be added back to a marketing list.
Privacy requests
You may contact our office to ask about your information, correct it, request deletion, or change marketing preferences. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional rights to access, obtain a copy of, correct, or delete information, or opt out of certain processing. We will assess requests under applicable law and may need to verify your identity before acting. Some records may need to be retained for legal or legitimate business reasons. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Other websites and children
Links to Google, Yelp, Trustpilot, or other sites are governed by those sites' privacy practices. This policy does not control those services.
Our website is intended for people seeking installation services or work with us, not for children under 13. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information through the site so we can review and address it.
Policy updates
We may update this policy as our services and practices change. We will post the updated policy with its effective date and provide additional notice or obtain new consent when required. Posting a new policy does not override an existing marketing opt-out or replace consent that is required for a new use.
